Holly Roberts Animal Paintings
American, b. 1951
Holly Roberts (b. 1951, Colorado) is a contemporary artist known for her collages combining photographs and paint. Inspired by her lifelong experience living in the Southwest, her compositions often incorporate the colors, wildlife, vegetation, and myths of desert and mountain landscapes.
Roberts earned a BFA from the University of New Mexico and an MFA from Arizona State University, Tempe. Her work is nationally and internationally exhibited and has been published in four monographs. The artist has been honored with the National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship twice, and is collected by institutions nationwide, including the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Bayly Museum of Art (Charlottesville). A dedicated teacher as well as a prolific artist, she has had a profound effect on a community of artists around the country. About an Artist:
Irena Orlov is a Los Angeles-based contemporary multidisciplinary visual artist whose work uses a combination of both traditional and new media. In a blending of traditional and new media, Irena Orlov developed special techniques which continue to give her art a unique look and aesthetic. While the majority of her works are done with mixed media, she also creates with acrylic, oil, pastel, watercolors and pencil.
Much of her art has been implemented in renowned hotels, wellness and corporate settings across the world.
