Inger Birgitta Persson, a ceramics designer, was born in Sweden on boxing day 1936. She went to Konstfack University in Stockholm 1955-1959 and during the summer months when she was off from her studies, Inger worked as a handyman for Gustavsbergs Porcelain Factory and Uppsala Ekeby.
