Christal Pace had this to say about her Grandfather: "My Grandfather John Pace was a distinguished, passionate man with a variety of skills. My dad and Uncle Nick are both great artists, but Grandfather ran the show. My Grandfather was incredibley charismatic and smart. The Grand-father, as we call him, dabled in many things throughout his life. He served in the war, drove racecars, had a knack for gambling, poker and black jack, and painted occasionally.
