Juan C. Estrada Portrait Drawings and Watercolors

Juan C. Estrada combines realism and surrealism in his work. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Estrada immigrated to Miami in 2012 and is currently on track to obtain his Associate's Degree in Arts with a major in Drawing. With no previous background in the art industry, Estrada became a self-taught artist by training himself to draw with the use of comic books and the environment as a point of reference and inspiration. His works are often monochromatic pencil drawings with overlays of gold paint that depict goddess-like women with a deconstructive visual language.(Biography provided by The Art Design Project)
