Toys in the Attic-Limited Edition Giclée print on Archival Cotton Paper Abstract
Located in Bal Harbour, FL
Toys in the Attic, 2016 Giclée print on Archival Cotton Paper. Acid and Lignin-free. The painting is a limited edition Giclée print, meticulously crafted on archival cotton paper, ensuring its durability and preserving the intricate details of the artwork. The composition takes us into the realm of imagination, depicting toys stored in an attic. Instead of representing the toys in a literal manner, the artist employs a delightful mix of geometric shapes and colors to stimulate our imagination and conjure up images of these playful objects. As we explore the artwork, we can discern a plethora of shapes carefully arranged to evoke the presence of toys. Circles, triangles, squares, and rectangles dominate the composition, both in regular and irregular forms. These shapes interact harmoniously, creating an abstract and fanciful representation of the toys that once brought joy to children. The artist's skillful use of colors enhances the whimsical atmosphere of the painting. Shades of green, orange, soft purple, soft pink, soft yellow, violet, black, and white come together, creating a captivating palette that infuses the artwork with vibrancy and energy. The colors evoke a sense of nostalgia and playfulness, transporting viewers to the imaginative world of childhood. Through the artist's masterful execution, the painting invites us to engage our imagination, allowing us to perceive the hidden toys within the abstract forms. Each viewer may envision different objects based on their personal memories and associations, breathing life into the artwork in their own unique way. "The 'anatomy' of the flower is too summary, melted in the flow of emotions. Yet this work could not be called non-objective, abstract. Their plastic masses are too full of life, too rich and juicy, too much of the earth." The painting is a limited edition Giclée print, expertly created on archival cotton paper, ensuring its longevity and preserving the intricate details of the artwork. The composition transports us to the depths of the ocean, where the artist uses a mesmerizing combination of geometric shapes and vibrant colors to represent the small animals, plants, and corals that reside in the deep sea. The backdrop of the painting is a captivating blue, symbolizing the vastness of the ocean. Against this blue sea, a multitude of figures, expertly rendered with geometric shapes, appear to be swimming and floating. The artist's imaginative use of shapes and colors invites the viewer's imagination to explore the hidden wonders of the underwater world.
