The chess board, made by Arval Argenti Valenza, was made in white and green marble and is supported by a STERLING SILVER frame made with the casting method and finished with a chisel, subsequently burnished and reproducing the bricks of a wall of a fortress. Painted face plate wall hanging. (not positive if it is porcelain or ceramic) Luigi Benzoni, 1956- Italian artist known for painting, sculpture, ceramic, glass and furniture design. He works with bronze, stone, glass, gold foil and paintings. He was born in Clusone in the province of Bergamo, Italy in 1956 but has lived in Venice since 1976 where he studied architecture and specialized in the history of art. He has exhibited his works in public and private institutions in Italy and abroad.
