Artist Commentary: This picture took several turns trying to decide how and what the photograph on the wall would eventually be. I tried several different variations before I finally settled on the image that eventually drove the title and subject matter of the piece. Had a lot of fun amping up the color palette. His paintings are vibrant, playful and unconventional, often featuring bright, saturated color and imaginative subject matter.
