Menashe Kadishman Drawings and Watercolor Paintings

Judith Brown (December 17, 1931 – May 11, 1992) was a dancer and a sculptor who was drawn to images of the body in motion and its effect on the cloth surrounding it. She welded crushed automobile scrap metal into energetic moving torsos, horses, and flying draperies. Brown attended Sarah Lawrence College in Yonkers, New York (B.A., 1954), where she learned to weld from her teacher, Theodore Roszak, a pioneering abstract expressionist sculptor. This is done in a style similar to Leonard Baskin. "Natalie's" - Plein Aire Pastoral Landscape in Pastel on Sandpaper Serene plein aire landscape with cows by Clive R. Tyler (American, b. 1958). This composition depicts a farm in Fort Collins, Colorado, with a large white barn at the top of the hill. There are several cows grazing in a bright green pasture. A partially broken fence is directly in front of the viewer - a symbol of the artist's desire to portray the realism of the scene, including imperfections. "American Bald Eagle Flying Through Silver Clouds Between Heaven and Earth" is an original mixed media piece by David Barnett, signed on the lower left center. It incorporates watercolor, ink, iridescent acrylic, rubber stamps, collage, and oil pencil. This piece depicts a surrealist landscape.
