Step into the magical world of Renate Frotscher, an artist who combines graphic design and ceramic sculptures. Renate, originally from the countryside of Cantal, France, began her artistic journey in the Netherlands at the Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam, where she studied graphic design and multimedia.
After gaining recognition as a skilled multimedia designer, Renate now expresses her creativity through clay. Her sculptures are inspired by comics, movies, cherished childhood memories, and chance encounters. This unique blend creates artworks that are playful and charming, blurring the lines between reality and fantasy, and drawing viewers into a captivating universe.
Renate's creative process is driven by storytelling, evoking feelings of innocence and nostalgia. Each sculpture she creates has its own distinct personality and tells its own story. Her artworks have a special ability to transport us back to our own treasured memories, intensifying the emotional impact of her creations, much like Marcel Proust's "madeleines."

Kyungmin Park is a figurative ceramic sculptor drawing inspiration from childlike perspectives. Contrasting the darker emotions and restricted psyche of adulthood with the boundless consciousness of children, Kyungmin’s sculptures confront the view with uncomfortable juxtapositions, encouraging reflection upon personal expectations and narratives. Kyungmin largely uses handbuilding techniques to construct her figures out of porcelain, a material she prefers for its ability to contrast starkly with bright and colorful decoration.
Originally from South Korea, Kyungmin earned her MFA in Ceramics from the University of Georgia in 2012 and her BFA from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University in 2008.
