Siergiej Timochow Landscape Prints

b. 1960

Siergiej Timochow, a Belorussian artist, was born in 1960. He studied at an art school in Minsk in 1979 before continuing to study at the Fine Arts Academy in Belarus. His acrylic and oil paintings depict a misty and dreamy atmosphere. The background is dark and blurry, but the blue shades brighten up the painting while perpetuating the dreamy aspect. Still life and nudes, Timochow manages to transpose everything in his universe. His strokes are thin and simple, reinforcing the lightness of his forms and figures. Surrounded by his wife and children, who are artists themselves, Timochow has done many personal and collective exhibitions, even familial ones. These events took place not only in Eastern Europe but also in Canada, Germany and France. Timochow's work has also been acquired by private collectors of these same countries. In 2014, he obtained the Grand Illustration Prize of the Plume d'Or International.
