New Format is a manufacturing and design firm based in Vancouver, Canada, founded in 2013 by principal Henry Norris. We use our background in architectural design and fabrication as the basis for explorations in furniture. Our motivation and interest is to take new ideas and apply them to the built environment around us. As part of our commitment to creating pieces of the highest quality, we produce and finish the majority of our work in house, at our 4000 square foot studio in Vancouver.
