Elaborate figural Egyptian Revival Victorian biscuit jar made by Mappin & Webb during the 19th century. This highly stylized piece features a winged sphinx with an Egyptian head piece finial. The piece is heavily engraved and has 4 four plaques that can be personalized. The bottom edge interior and outer edge is beaded and it stands on four stylized claw feet. The bottom is stamped with an early Mappin & Webb hallmark along with W 16 and some etched handwritten numbers as well. A truly spectacular piece that would be a wonderful addition to your home. Antique English Sheffield silver-plate rectangular serving tray.

This large antique silver plated serving tray is signed by an unknown maker and presumed to have originated from England and dating to approximately 1920 and done in a Victorian style. The outside rim is decorated with a leaf and flower motif and accented by the diamond pierced sides, and scroll worked handles. The surface of the tray is engraved with stylized leaves and flowers and the tray is hallmarked on the back and identified as 'Sheffield Reproduction'.
