ABOUT THE MEDIUM: Original Production Cels are one-of-a-kind pieces of art that were used in the creation of an animated film or television show. Each has been hand-painted by studio artists on a piece of celluloid acetate, and has been photographed over a background painting to create a frame of the finished production.
ABOUT THE IMAGE: You and Your Sense of Smell and Taste is a short educational film by Disney, featuring Jiminy Cricket as a narrator. He explains how smell and taste work together to help us enjoy food and detect danger. He also gives examples of how animals use these senses differently. The directors were Bill Justice and Riley Thomson. The voice of Jiminy Cricket was Cliff Edwards.
