About the Item

Denis Volpiana was born in Vicenza on 1988. Start a very early painting. He enrolled in the New Academy of Fine Arts in Milan (NABA) graduating with a thesis titled “The City of Desires”. After studying, she moved to London and began her artistic career. Attending the ‘Shape’ association encourages meetings and acquaintances with young local artists. In October 2012 he participated in a collective at Highbury Park Islington. In September 2013 he returned to Italy and collaborated in the father’s business for about a year and then decided to engage in artistic activity, followed by a series of exhibitions. In 2015 he participated in several performances for Vicenza, he participated in a collective exhibition in September in the Sacre Coeur Chapel at Montecchio Maggiore in Vicenza in December 2016 inaugurated ‘FROM’ his first personal in the rooms of Hotel Palladio, where he presents Studies the work started in London. In February 2017 he inaugurated ‘MAPPE’ at the QU-BI gallery located at Palace Valmarana Braga. In April 2017 he exhibited at the Salone del mobile di Milan with Provasi. He is performing at Marostica Castle, in Vicenza, with an exhibition titled "fractures". "Fractures" arises from a reflection on our present, the world and its wars, about selfishness also widespread in social and family relationships. A fracture is considered negative. With this new theme I want to highlight the areas created by the cracks to create a new reading of the present that we are building. I look at the shards, I paint and I always try to find innovative aspects to give hope: vibrant colors, joyful to look for the resistance and sensitivity needed to believe in change, so to realize that every break can, in recognizing it, Why it happened; You can come back together to start over again.
