Streamside Mountain Memories Abstract Landscape Collection Acrylic 48x36 This Collection of Abstract Landscapes are my personal exploration of the wonder and beauty of Nature. They are meant to inspire and remind you of the peace found in the world. This painting based on a collage I did several years ago. It's my memory and experience of a time my brother and I drove up Guanella pass to see the Aspen change. We stopped by a stream and talked about our mother. How much she loved Colorado, the mountains and especially the Aspen. Here's what I've written about this image and is printed on the back. Crisp air and bright sunlight glitters on quaking leaves clacking in the breeze. The stream carriesour dreams and memories to the waters of the world. The original painting is textured with an under-layment of thick acrylic paste that is painted over. The image continues around each edge. Artwork is self-framing with 2-inch gallery wrapped canvas with hanging wire attached.
