About the Item
Bec Des Rosses is an original oil onto canvas by Russian painter Victor Egorov. The Bec des Rosses is a mountain overlooking Verbier in the Swiss canton of Valais and renowned as one of the toughest mountains to ski in the Alps. Egorov's realist style remains influenced by the traditional methods at the renowned Academy of Fine Arts and by the 19th Century Russian masters such as Korovin and Levitan, though his most favourite artist remains John Constable. Belgravia Gallery's colleciton of artworks by Egorov display the seasons from winter through to springtime, showcasing the Russian artist's talent at brilliantly capturing the atmosphere of various landscapes and the great outdoors.
