About the Item
An international flower of summer, the sunflower offers an aura of hope and renewal. This contemporary perspective of the sunflower feels somewhat surrealistic, much as the times we are living in! An original oil painting, this floral still life is staid like a topiary yet encompassed in a cubist format thereby creating further interest. Raised in New York, popular artist Jim Twerell attended the highly acclaimed School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. He maintains his studio in New Jersey where he is raising his family.
