Original vintage travel advertising poster published by the Italian Tourism Board ENIT to promote the city of Turin in northern Italy featuring a fantastic design depicting the historic equestrian Bronze Horse statue of Emanuele Filiberto (1528-1580; Duke of Savoy 1553-1580) wearing a feathered helmet and holding his military sword on his horse in the centre of the Piazza San Carlo in front of a stylised depiction of the city at night with the iconic dome of the Mole Antonelliana (opened 1888), modern buildings and brightly lit neon signs with smoke rising from tall industrial factory chimneys against the starry night sky, the text below in yellow and green letters with the ENIT logo. Artwork by Alberto Campagnoli (1905-1983). Printed in Italy by Gros Monti & C., Torino. Very good condition, restored minor paper loss and tears, backed on linen.
