Original vintage skiing and winter sport travel poster for the popular ski resort of Zermatt in Switzerland featuring a rare photomontage design by Emil Schulthess (1913-1996) depicting a Gornergrat railway train and skiers on the Riffelboden station platform with the Cervin Matterhorn mountain peak dominating the blue sky in the background, and the world champion Swiss skier and famous Zermatt mountain guide Otto Furrer (1913-1951) pictured in the foreground with the bold title text below: Zermatt Riffelboden 1600-2400m. Very good condition, restored tears, restored creasing, backed on linen.
