Original vintage travel poster for British United Airways - Rotterdam centre to London centre / city within 3 hours The businessman's special - featuring a great graphic design showing a stopwatch with three hours marked on the clock face and a plane flying diagonally up to text in bold blue and red lettering - Vlieg British United Airways Rotterdam centrum London centrum / city binnen 3 uur - and the travel agent information and telephone number below. Artwork by the Dutch graphic designer Gerard Wernars (1924-2003). Founded in 1960 British United Airways BUA was the largest private British airline company, based in Central London and London Gatwick Airport until merging with Caledonian Airways to form British Caledonian in 1970 (taken over by British Airways BA in 1988). Very good condition, minor creasing, small tears.
