Mid-Century Modern floor lamp model 2431 designed by Josef Frank for Svenskt Tenn. This lamp is from the 1950s. Brass and linen. Good original condition, minor wear consistent with age and use. Manufactures stamp on the bottom.
Measurements : width ca 80 cm, bottom diameter 28 cm, height ca 165 cm (adjustable shades)
The Model 2431 floor lamp was designed by Josef Frank in 1938 and called “The three spirals”. In 1939, the lamp was shown in the Golden Gate Exhibition in San Francisco, and since then it has been referred to as the “San Francisco” lamp.
