About the Item
THE slipper designer of the mid-century, Daniel Green was the name wartime brides insisted upon because they were unrationed and for many, the only “new” thing they could enjoy on their wedding day. The “crème de la crème” of boudoir slippers, this model (like the "Militaire" shown in the final image) features the kitten mule design that made pinups famous and personal time glamorous. As lovely with a wedding gown as with lingerie.
