Fenton Blue Carnival Glass Panther Design Dish

About the Item

A nice quality American Fenton blue carnival glass dish molded in the Panther design and dating from the early 20th century. The dish stands raised on three molded claw feet and is of rounded shape with a crimped rim and molded in relief to the centre with two prowling Panthers set amidst fruiting stems. The dish has a wonderful blue and golden iridescence with the underside of the outer rim decorated in relief with panels of butterflies set between panels with fruiting berries. The dish is not marked. In good condition.
