Fenton Persian Medallion Amethyst Carnival Glass Pedestal Bowl
About the Item
We offer this exceptional and stunning vintage Fenton carnival glass pedestal bowl decorated in the Persian Medallion design in a wonderful purple or amethyst iridescence and dating from the early to mid 20th century. The bowl stands raised on a rounded pedestal foot with a tall narrow stem and with a rounded crimped rim bowl. The bowl is crisply patterned with fine detail in the Persian Medallion pattern both to the inside and outer edge and also with patterning to the stem and foot and has a wonderful oily iridescence over a purple glass ground. The bowl has a moulded FENTON mark to the base.
Provenance: Acquired in the UK Art Market.
In good Condition with light wear associated with age and use.
