Longwy Ceramic Cloisonné Charger Artist Signed French Art Deco
About the Item
A rare large decorative French deep wall charger by R. Rizzi for Faiences de Longwy de Luneville. Decorated in a crackle glaze of vibrant colors and gilt and enameled with a peacock surrounded by colorful foliage. Craquelle white ground and metallic gold accents in the tail feathers, the fruits on the trees, and the centers of the red flowers. Beautiful vivid color and unusually large size. Limited edition 10/30. Wire on back for hanging.
