Garrard & Co Silver Four Sconce Three Branch Candelabra
About the Item
A very fine quality silver three branch candelabra with four candle sconces by Garrard & Co of Regent Street, London and dated 1978. Often referred to as the 'Crown Jewellers' Garrard are renowned for the quality of their craftsmanship. This well made and heavy candelabra stands on a rounded domed foot with a central candle sconce and with three flat curved and raised branches with a ribbed design to the surface supporting three further candle sconces. The candelabra has Birmingham assay marks to the base with date code for 1978 and also has impressed makers marks along with retailer marks for Garrard & Co. The candelabra is numbered 1387 and weighs approximately 11.5oz.
