A fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver photograph frame, an addition to our ornamental silverware collection.
This fine antique George V silver photo frame, in sterling standard, has a plain square form with an incurved square shaped internal window.
The surface of this antique photograph frame is plain and surmounted with an impressive cast and applied ribbon bow motif.
This solid silver frame retains the original oakwood back and hinged strut, secured with two hallmarked silver catches, the catches in addition to the silver bar securing the oakwood back indicate the high quality of the piece.
This fine antique piece is fitted with a removable glass panel.
Condition
This George V silver photo frame is an exceptional gauge of silver for its type, exceptional quality for its type and in exceptional presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the frame show signs of wear but remain legible.
