1920s solid bronze sculpture of a seated flapper girl. She is solid bronze with a gold and silver and green patina on a marble base. Signed by the artist, Demetre Chiparus. The marble is Beige with a pink cast to it. Romanian artist Demetre Chiparus (1886-1937). Demetre Chiparus was considered one of the main sculptors of the Art Deco movement, his ability to imply movement worked well with the playful dancers he so often sculpted.
