Pair of Large Bronze Mounted Marble Garniture Urns
About the Item
Finely crafted large white and brown marble urns with patinated bronze mounts. The lids with artichoke finials, palmettes and acanthus leaves, attached to the necks decorated with leaves. With pairs of twisted snake handles. The bulbous marble urns with bronze mounts on a tall foot with a band of rosettes. The flat bases with egg-and-dart banded edges.
Measures: H. 26", W. handles 12", Depth 10.75”, base 7 5/8 x 7 5/8".
Condition: Please see detail photos. There is some acceptable and slight wear to the dark patina revealing brighter bronze underneath and the Urn Pair presenting very well.
