Pair of French Mid 19th Century Louis XVI St. Porcelain and Ormolu Vases
About the Item
An exquisite and high quality pair of French mid 19th century Louis XVI st. blue cobalt Porcelain and Ormolu vases. Each vase is raised by a scrolled Ormolu base with acanthus leaves and rosettes, and an Ormolu berried laurel band above. The handsome blue vases have attractive Ormolu pierced handles with a maiden bust at the top and scrolled acanthus leaves at each side. Exceptional condition and all original gilt throughout.
