Vintage Schott Zwiesel Glass Triple Use Vase Decanter Bowl Zwiesel Kristallglas

About the Item

Gorgeous triple use glass vase, decanter, bowl by Schott Zwiesel a division of Zwiesel Kristallglas. They are in awesome vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or chiggers. Plus, they retain their original boxes. Please see photos. We have a pair but are pricing them separately, circa early 21st century. Just look! Just look at the beauty of this very unusual Triple Use piece from Schott Zwiesel which is a division of Zwiesel Kristallglas. It is a beautiful decanter. It is a gorgeous vase. Or, presto change-o, it is a fabulous compote bowl. The decanter or base portion is a lovely clear colorless glass but the portions that create the stopper, vase, and bowl are a transparent delicate aqua. Simply stunning! We have priced these separately so you may choose the purchase one or two. Schott Zwiesel bills themselves as the glass for the professional. And so, they are. They focus on functional innovative special glassware for beverages and serving. Catering to sommeliers, winemakers, internationally renowned chefs, top hotels, and the refined connoisseur. However, they never loose sight of the gracefulness of glass in design or color. Schott Zwiesel is a division of Zwiesel Kristallglas which was founded in 1872 by Anton Muller in Zwiesel, Bavaria. Glass, one of the oldest materials in human history, found its way to Zwiesel about 600 years prior so the area is rich with glass history. Originally a sheet glass works they have long since become one of the leading international glass specialists. But they are not purely an industrial enterprise but more craftsmen of a sophisticated glass culture. For almost 140 years they have served both the haute cuisine and the private household. We fell in love with these Triple Use pieces at first sight. We know you did too. Make one or both yours!
