Stunning 20th Century Jugendstil Style Glazed Cologne Earthenware Punch Bowl
About the Item
This handcrafted punch bowl is in excellent condition.
The Jugendstil motives on this glazed earthenware punchbowl are stunning. The glazing is done in a similar technique as enamelling and the result with the deep blue color is beautiful. There is no spoon, but a white, red, blue or transparent spoon will fit perfectly. The handle on the lid reads 'prosit'. This is German for 'cheers'. Also check out the superbly, integrated handles on both sides of this 5 liter punch bowl. We cannot find another bowl like this anywhere in the world.
