"Guggenheim" Ceramic Sculpture by A.Ba.Co. for New Land

US$1,850

About

"Guggenheim" ceramic sculpture by A.Ba.Co. for New Land. Part of the "Monuments" collection, together with the "Velasca" tower, "Ronchamp" church, "Opera House" building, represent a "Kitsch" work. Each piece in this new domestic scale has a daily function: the Guggenheim becomes an eggcup, same for the Velasca tower by BBPR (turning to a plant holder), the E42 building (turning to a table lamp) and so on. Literature: Casa Vogue Magazine # 40 - September 1975 - pages 190-191
