A French Neoclassical faïence transfer printed creamware plate produced by P&H Choisy, circa 1824-1836. A black transfer of an architectural image on a creamware body, depicting the Vue de Fontainbleu à Paris. The building is prominent, with the title printed below. Sailing boats are seen in the foreground. A floral border follows the rim. Measures: 8.5 in. diameter x .75 in. height A partial impressed makers mark on the verso, Valentin Paillart and Hippolyte Hautin, the P&H Choisy shield.. The expected wear. Light discoloring and utensil marking to the field.
