Antique French Opaline Glass Demitasse Cup & Saucer

A fine antique white opaline or opalescent glass cup & saucer.
With handpainted flower garlands to the body of the cup & the rim of the saucer & traces of original gilding.
Simply a wonderful early cup & saucer set!

Overall Condition:
It is in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition with no cracks or repairs.
Condition Details:
There are chips to the saucer's edge, minor fritting to the cup's rim, and significant rubbing to the gold of both cup & saucer. Otherwise, there is some minor wear to the decoration, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
