A beautiful Antique George III solid Silver Tea Caddy in a traditional circular straight sided can shaped form and is decorated with beautiful and detailed engravings. These engravings form ornate scroll borders which create panels on the side of the body, each containing an engraved Chinese pseudo character and striped to look like a tea carton. Made in London, England in 1763 by John Denzilow. Approx. Weight - 386g / 12.41oz Approx. Height - 10.1cm Approx. Diameter - 10.4cm This Georgian Tea Caddy has full English hallmarks on body and is part marked on lid. The Caddy is in excellent condition with no damage. STOCK CODE - TEA01 GEO01.
