Art Nouveau Glass Carafe With Silver Fitting, by Wilhelm Binder, Germany
About the Item
Carafe made of clear glass with a conical body, the inside six-pointed wave-shaped thickened wall, cut near the base with star and beam decoration, ground star, silver fitting with wreath and bow decoration, meander ribbon and stylized consoles, J-shaped, slightly raised handle, covered beak-shaped spout, hinged stepped vaulted lid in the middle over the vessel opening, pine cone as a thumb rest. Internal gilding.
