Stunning and extraordinary, 35 inches in diameter, 8-light antique chandelier. If you are looking for a one of a kind and truly classy chandelier for a dining room, a hotel lobby, a large entry hall or any other spacious room that needs to radiate class and good taste then this large and impressive work of lighting art could be your perfect lighting solution. This unique fixture from the European Jugendstil era is one of the most beautiful alabaster lights we have ever seen or sold. The flat design, white alabaster shade in the center alone is one of the largest and most beautiful ones that we have ever seen. Also, because it has the perfect number of beautiful black veins that are evenly spread across the surface. That unique shade alone is worth a small fortune, but here this shade is only half of what this chandelier has to offer. Around the large alabaster shade is a detailed and perfect condition, bronze frame from which six beautifully turned and hand-forged bronze arms 'grow'. They are like stylized, organic arms with on top the white and black alabaster shades that are like blossoming flowers. And it does not stop there either, because the original rope and height adjustable, perfect condition brass canopy are like the proverbial icing on the cake. We could not believe that this stunning rope was in fact the original rope until we saw the original and severely pulverized wiring that was inside. This impressive and perfectly balanced chandelier is now fully rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage the world over and we cannot wait to receive a photo of the space where it will be used and enjoyed for the next 50 to 100 years. We have said it many times before, but an antique alabaster light fixture like this will truly light up both your days and evenings. Rewired: It is rewired to the highest standard for safe & immediate usage the world over. It will easily take two 100 watt bulbs inside the large shade and another six 50 watt bulbs in the smaller shades. It will easily light up a large dining or living room. Repaired: Two of the smaller alabaster shades have at some point in time been broken and reglued. When you turn the glued lines to the inside then it is hard to notice them. Wear consistent with age and use. The large alabaster shade has absolutely no cracks or chips and it is as structurally sound as the day it was handmade over 100 years ago.
