Flower shaped flush mount, gold leaf, gilt iron. Spain, 1950s. Eye-catching ceiling light fixture in the shape of a peony flower bud. This hand- wrought iron ceiling light fixture is nicely constructed, with leaves surrounding the central light. It has a nice patina showing its original gold leaf gilding. It can be used as a flush mount, as a pendant hanging from a chain at the desired height but also as wall sconce.
