French modern neoclassical sunburst flush mount / wall light in gilt iron with spikey gilt nail rays. France, 1940s.
Outstanding hand-hammered gold leaf gilt iron leafed sunburst light fixture from the late Art Deco period.
Highly decorative design alternating iron leaves in two sizes with pointed spikes or nails.
This light fixture can be hung as a wall or ceiling light or suspended with a chain to be used as a pendant light.
Its design with accents from brutalism and neoclassical style and its gorgeous golden gold gilt aged patina will add a luxury accent to any place.
Newly wired.
