French Sunburst Ceiling Light Fixture in Gilt Wrought Iron, 1940s
About the Item
Large Sunburst flush mount, wrought iron, gold leaf, France, 1930s-1940s.
This iron sunburst ceiling flush mount was hancrafted at the late Art Deco period. It has a nice design with pointed spikes surrounding a central spherical plate. Entirely hand-hammered.
It has a gorgeous patina showing its original gold leaf gilding.
It can be placed flush mounted or as a pendant hanging from a chain at the desired height.
This sunburst ceiling light will be a nice addition wherever you place it and it will be a glamourous accent that will catch everybody's attention.
Newly wired with 3 E27 bulb holders
