An elegant pair of French table lamps from the 1940s attributed to Andre Arbus. Of neoclassical obelisk form on low square basses wrapped in parchment and finished with brass ball and upturned cup hardware. Provenance: Marche Paul-Bert Serpette, Saint-Ouen Gallerie Eric Philippe Purchased from the above 1989 Collection of Marion Lambert Measures: Height without shade: 43cm Height including shade 58cm, Shade diameter: 35 cm, Lamp base: 12cm x 12cm.
