Magic lanterns are early types of image projectors (17th-19th century) that used paintings, prints, or photos on glass plates, one or more lenses and a light sources to entertain or educate its users. This 19th century "magic" oil lamp light projector has polished brass and is complete with glass slides and original carrying case. Great addition to any camera or film buff's collection.
