A Pair of Celestial and Terrestrial Globes, London, 1850



Pair of English globes. Over a wheel turned oak wooden base, with the round foot, with a perfect patina, is placed a Celestial globe, edited by Malbey, London. The globe is made out of papier-mache, finished with pastiglia refined chalk, and completed by the copper printed color gores graduated meridian bar for the parallels measures. The second globe is a terrestrial, edited by Newton & co. London, 1850.
