Hand-knotted in pure 100% silk originating from one of our most reputed partner looms in Nepal, this 9 x 12 addition to the European rug collection by Rug & Kilim enjoys a grand approach to repetition in the play of lustrous, rustically charming hues and floral imagery—a design affectionately named “Granada” among our custom-capable European patterns. Among the rare complements to this pagination of beige, pink, green and subtle, varied hues, the silk’s natural sheen lends a sense of movement and a play of the light to the field while the uncommon pictorial border enfolds the soothing portrait in a dignified, cultured manner without sacrificing approachability in a luxury rug; a marriage of fine weaving, scale, and colorway ideal to our custom process.
