An exceptionally rare pair of lounge chairs by the Calif-asia company, circa 1960. Beautifully crafted rattan and hardwood construction with fabulous style and attention to detail. Stout, sturdy and suitable for heavy regular use. This firm consistently commissioned/imported highly decorative rattan pieces of the finest quality. The matching sofa is available in a separate listing. Serious Art intended to anchor an important space. Excellent Restored Condition. The chairs have been professionally cleaned and re-lacquered. The finish displays a wonderful warmth, depth and luster. All cane bindings are intact and complete. Custom upholstery service is available. The price listed is for the pair. The maker label was destroyed during restoration.
