About the Item

One of 30 stacking chairs designed by Professor Roland Rainer (1910-2004) in 1952 and manufactured by Emil & Alfred Pollak, Vienna. Roland Rainer used these chairs for the Viennese city hall "Wiener Stadthalle" in 1956-1962. It is made of natural and black painted solid beech and the seat and back is made of plywood. The chair is in restored and very good condition. The price is per item. Documented in: Roland Rainer das Werk des Architekten 1927-2003 Möbeldesign der 50er Jahre, Eva B.
