Scandinavian Modern Windsor Chair in Patinated Ash and White Bouclé, 1940s

About the Item

Amazing "windsor" armchair made by a Danish cabinetmaker in the 1940s. The chair is made from solid ash and is sublimely built with many wonderful details showing great craftsmanship. The original cushions have been reupholstered in chunky white boucle from Bute. Great original condition. In the style of Fritz Hansen, Hans J. Wegner and Frits Henningsen. A very beautiful, unique and comfortable chair.
