Stylish 3 Piece Renzo Rutuli Chest Credenza Travertine Johnson Furniture Co

About the Item

Rare Mid-Century Modern 3-part chest or credenza designed by Renzo Rutili (Lorenzo R. Rutili American 1901-1966) for Johnson Furniture Co. Set of 2 walnut cases with 4 drawers each and 1 travertine shelf. The chests are mounted on a long Asian floating-style stand with short legs ending with brass-clad feet. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with an aged patina on the dark, rich finish. Original maker's label inside top drawer. One of Renzo's most iconic designs. This piece measures 31" T x 101" L x 19" D.

    Wear consistent with age and use. This set is in good vintage condition. The tops show some minor scuffs and scratches-nothing serious. The legs show a bit more wear with some finish loss. Brass details show some patina.
