'Algae' Limited Edition Drawer Cabinet from Egli Design
About the Item
'Algae'
They are like water rippling in the sun, altering its colour constantly. A seaweed waving to the rhythm. Flowing water, which endlessly moves just to avoid becoming a swamp. It flows through the rocks, gently touching the grass, playing with the sun. This image reminds of childhood, it evokes the happiness, but at the same time warns that one cannot stay still. It was made solely from wood, engraved with bare hands. The shape took its time to reveal itself, while the unusual colour was selected to strengthen the impression. This creation also contains a flawless finishing and is inlaid with European walnut burl.
